001 — Flagship system
The strap that replaces the loop, the hook and the cuff ring. Sewn D-ring anchor, honeycomb grip weave, zero-slip hold at any load.
A sewn steel D-ring lets the webbing rotate to the shortest line of pull, so load never stacks against your wrist bone.
Barbell, dumbbell, cable handle or sled. Thread the tail, pull it tight, lift — no loop to re-seat mid-set.
Honeycomb weave compresses into the bar as tension rises, giving friction where a plain webbing strap glazes over.

003 — Anatomy
Every ANKRD piece is designed around the stress path — the line the force takes from the bar to your body. Materials are placed where that line runs, and nowhere else.
6 mm steel wire, seam-welded to a closed loop. The pivot point for every angle of pull.
Four reinforced bar-tacks at the cuff join — the first place a cheap strap tears.
38 mm textured nylon that compresses into the knurl instead of sliding across it.

004 — The standard
01
Full-grain leather, layered latex, single-ply nylon. No fillers, no bonded scrap, nothing that fails quietly.
02
Hardware tested to 900 lb so a 400 lb pull is a fraction of the working range, not the ceiling.
03
If a buckle, clip or insert can be removed and the gear still works, we remove it.
04
Padded contact faces where the load sits. Nothing decorative where the load crosses.

"Swapped from loop straps six months ago. Heaviest deadlift of my life three weeks later — my grip stopped being the story."

"The ankle cuffs stay put on cable work, which no other pair I own does. Small thing, huge difference at volume."

"The belt closed the same way on day one and month eight. Nothing softened up. That's all I want from gear."
